"My project, Farm Share Studio, was developed to showcase locally grown food and the agricultural landscape in upstate New York. Whether participating in art shows, selling prints and cards, or using my work for fundraising, I strive to expand awareness of our rich agricultural heritage".
Ten years ago I retired from a career in marketing communications and began painting full time. Already concerned about climate change and development pressures, I was struck by the fact local food was so hard to find in a region of agricultural abundance. I decided to join the grassroots movement that was forging links between these issues. Today I sell my work at pop-up art shows and local retail shops, as well as on etsy.com.
