"These enveloping hills protect us and provide for our sustenance. The people tucked in here reciprocate with care and commitment. The immense beauty of our regionis constantly distracting to me. Could I possibly be more fortunate? I am so happy to be able to contribute, through the ASA Landscapes show, to the ability of others in our community to continue and expand the careful stewarding of this region.
I am always expressing the surrounding colors, textures, and forms through varied media and subjects. For the past several months I’ve been making paintings of the (often unseen) moths of the area, and also their host plants when known."
